We start 2022 with optimism as we set out our plans for the year ahead. We have several transformation initiatives underway (including the first CEO Forum on 10 February 2022 and CEO Challenge) and have planned activities around procurement training, health technology assessment models, industry data collection, skills development and stakeholder engagement. We would also like to thank you for your support of SAMED, your commitment to the medtech industry and your contributions to the South African health system. Despite the ups and downs, we hope that 2021 was a successful year for you and your organization. From the SAMED Board and secretariat, we want to wish you a happy, healthy, and prosperous new year!
