Through an initiative called #PayIn30, Business for South Africa (B4SA), the SA SME Fund and Business Leadership South Africa are assisting SMEs with cashflow threats in order to safeguard their sustainability and in doing so, protect the jobs that they provide. Through this initiative over 50 large companies have committed to paying their small and medium suppliers within a 30 day period. SAMED supports all initiatives that benefit SMEs and are glad to see the Discovery Group among those committed to the initiative. We encourage our larger members to adopt similar processes where appropriate.
