Dr Katlego Mothudi is the Managing Director of the Board of Healthcare Funders of Southern Africa. BHF is a member organization, representing the interests of its members from the Medical Aid or Healthcare Funders Industry in the 7 countries it operates in.
Prior to this he worked for Sizwe Medical Fund, initially as the Executive Head for Operations and Clinical Services, and then as the Principal Executive Officer. He has held various other roles in the Medical Aid industry over the 11 years he has worked in the sector.
His experience of over 21 years in Healthcare provision, includes working in the South African Public Healthcare Sector as a Medical Officer and later as a Clinical Manager of a District Hospital. Katlego holds a Bachelor of Science degree, in Chemistry and Applied Chemistry.
He is a qualified Medical Doctor with a specialization in Sports Medicine. The latter has afforded him an opportunity to work with various Sports Organizations and Teams caring for athletes in different sporting codes.
Dr Mothudi has served on several Boards and was also a Deputy Chairman of the Doping Subcommittee of the South African Football Association
