The Department of Trade, Industry and Competition (dtic) has released Draft Government Gazette 54032, proposing significant amendments to the General B-BBEE Codes of Good Practice. These proposed changes are open for public comment until 31 March 2026, and if implemented, they will materially reshape scorecards, procurement strategies, Enterprise & Supplier Development, and long-term transformation planning.e
